About Course

The CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support qualification reflects the role of individuals in a range of community settings and people’s homes, who provide support in a manner that empowers people with disabilities to achieve greater levels of independence, self-reliance, community participation and well-being. Workers promote a person-centred approach, work according to, may contribute to an individualised plan and work without direct supervision. They may be required to supervise and/or coordinate a small team.

Through this course, students are able to advance their industry skills and contribute positively to disability and aged care sectors.

To receive the CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support qualification, you must satisfactorily complete ten (10) units of competency, which includes seven (7) core and three (3) elective units. Students have the option to choose from five (5) elective units from the list that contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.

Students who do not complete the full qualification will be issued with a Statement of Attainment.

This course has been designed by industry experts, offering electives that best align with current industry relevance.


Delivery Mode

This course is delivered online and is self-paced, through the guidance of a trainer. Self-study is required.
