About Course
Guided by the Department of Human Services (DHS), Safe Environments: Through Their Eyes is a course developed to assist organisations that provide services to children and young people.
In this course, students are taught how to recognise, report and respond to children or young people who may be at risk of harm and build their capacity to provide safe environments within an organisation.
This course also assists individuals in understanding their obligations under the Children and Young People (Safety) Act 2017, to provide child-safe environments within their role working with or alongside children.
Anyone working with children or young people are strongly encouraged to undertake this course.
Due to the sensitive nature of this training and the topics explored, students are designed to be in a face-to-face, classroom setting so we can provide you with a supportive and collaborative learning environment. It is a Department recommendation that the delivery of the Safe Environments: Through their Eyes training is a face-to-face program.
For large group bookings, we offer our Zoom Virtual Classroom. Please contact us for a quote.
